After the selections are made everything is brought together for your presentation. A color visual representation of the project is drawn, and samples of all the fabrics, and photos of the selected furniture are brought together so you can see the plan.

Plans for residences designed by Lucian T. Hood Jr. are now available for sale. These plans are offered for your review and selection through our comprehensive “Plan Book” library. Plans are available for residences and townhomes from 2,000 to 11,000 square feet. Though we specialize in the Country French, and Château styles of architecture, we have many plans in other styles of architecture as well.

A professional design staff is available to help you customize existing plans, as well as creating new plans to exactly meet your specifications.

Sherry Renfrow Moore is the owner and president of Designer Showcase located south of Houston, Texas. A licensed interior designer and ASID allied member, Sherry has over 28 years of experience building and designing homes. She built her first home at the age of 18! She was Vice President of Renfrow-Blackburn Builders, where she learned to spec homes and alter preliminary architectural plans to create the grandest and most customized space for her clients. Later she officed out of her home as Interiors by Sherry, designing for friends and family, followed by partnering with her sister and a small staff called Designer Enterprise.

Five years ago, Sherry began Designer Showcase, a full studio interior design firm. She poured her profits into acquiring high-end furniture, accessory, and art accounts. As her business flourished, so did her accounts and her staff. Today, she has over 300 vendors to choose from and an enthusiastic staff of 12!

Sherry has become famous, regionally, for her award winning showcases. Her most recent venture was designing a 7,000 square foot house and winning Best Interior Design in Katy, TX. One of the eye catching pieces was enlarging and antiquing a circa 1600 map of the world and pasting it on the study ceiling with old-world antiquing around it. Her master bedroom draperies were a taupe and sage chenille with ribboned border over hand beaded black sheers with beaded trim.
